OLD WASHINGTON, OH – The Guernsey County Fair Board is pleased to announce the live entertainers for the 2019 Guernsey County Fair. Country music icon Craig Morgan and Nashville singer and song-writer Ryan Robinette will perform in front of the grand stand on Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30 p.m. – the first headliner concert performance at the fair since 2014.
“The Guernsey County Fair Board strives to provide attendees with quality entertainment for people of all ages to enjoy,” said Guernsey County Fair Board President Brian Winters. “When the fair board decided to bring live entertainment back to the fair, we ultimately turned to fair goers to help us make the decision – and we listened to their requests.”
Robinette, a Senecaville native and graduate of Meadowbrook High School, works in Nashville, Tennessee as a full-time singer and songwriter. Robinette’s albums, songs and EPs have all ranked highly on the iTunes charts and have received millions of streams online. Robinette’s newest album, “Hello Summer: Vol. 3,” is set to debut this June.
Over the last year, Robinette has toured nationally and internationally – opening and playing alongside major acts like Florida Georgia Line, Eric Paslay, Brett Eldredge and more. But, none of those shows quite compare to his upcoming performance at the Guernsey County Fair.
“Out of all the shows, this one means the most, it’s something I day dreamed about when I was roaming the halls of Meadowbrook. I get to come back home in a big way, back to the people and area that made me who I am,” Robinette said. “Guernsey County is in every piece of me and I can’t wait to come back and say thank you and hopefully inspire some of the younger generation that might be striving for something like this.”
Morgan, an army veteran, TV personality and country music icon, is the headliner for the evening. Before his tenure within country music, Morgan spent 17 years serving our country, including 10.5 years on active duty in the U.S. Army. Charting 25 songs on the Billboard Music Chart, Morgan is well-known for thrilling massive crowds with his signature hits, “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” among others. Morgan has also performed 215 times in the legendary Grand Ole Opry – which he is a proud member of.
